    Welcome to Frazier!

Frazier Elementary has a long tradition of providing an outstanding education for ALL students. We have created a structured, loving, and safe environment for our students, staff, and parents. In addi-tion to our solid academic program, Frazier teaches children social and emotional skills, and we provide a variety of extra-curricular activities, such as sports, music, chess, robotics, STEAM and family events!

    Schedule

    7:15 am Doors Open

    7:30 am -2:50 pm ECSE

    7:45 am —3:05 pm Pre-Kinder—4th

    Attendance

It is extremely important that your child attends school everyday. Notes are required to be entered into Skyward upon returning to school following an absence. The note should include: Student Name, Date of Absence, Reason for Absence, Teacher Name, and Parent Signature. Multiple unexcused absences will result in a referral to a truancy officer.

    Tardies

Students are officially tardy at 7:45. After this time, parents MUST park and escort their children to the front office to sign them in. Doors on Sagemeadow side will close at 7:45. Parents must drive around to the Hughes entrance to escort your child inside. Every minute counts. Don’t put your child at a disadvantage. Please have your child at school on time to begin the school day with everyone else.

    Arrival

Students may be dropped starting at 7:15 AM. Adult supervision is not available before 7:15 AM.

Please use these arrival and dismissal locations:

Sagemeadow: PK/ECSE/ABLE/BSS/Kinder and their siblings; daycares also use this entrance.

    • Hughes: 1st-4th graders with no siblings in PK/ECSE/ABLE/BSS/Kinder.

    Dismissal

Please plan ahead and send any changes in dismissal in writing to the teacher before 2:00 PM. In case of an emergency after 2:00 PM call the front office to communicate any changes in dismissal.

    Early Pick-up

If a parent is picking up a student, they must have an ID card, driver's license, or passport. Pick up time stops at 2:30 P.M. every day, so please arrive before that time. Students will not be released if the person who is picking up a student is not in the system.

    Car riders:

Sagemeadow: PK/ECSE/ABLE/BSS/Kinder and their siblings; daycares also use this entrance.

Hughes: 1st-4th graders with no siblings in PK/ECSE/ABLE/BSS/Kinder.

Drivers must have the appropriate car tags from the school. For the safety of all students if you don’t have your car tag, you must park and go to the office with your picture ID. On Sagemeadow side, cars should line up along the fence until signaled in by a staff member (After the school bus arrives). Daycare vehicles are always al-lowed to pull in ahead of cars. Children not picked up by 3:30 may be picked up in the front office.

    Walkers:

We have three walker lines: Sagemeadow (for kids living behind Frazier), Hughes left, and Hughes right (including kids who cross Hughes with the crossing guard). We will continue to send walkers out in light rain. We will hold all walkers in heavy rain or thunderstorms.

    Parent Walkups:

If you want to walk your child home, you may wait near the flag pole or across Hughes, as kids are walking out. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT AND WAIT BY THE POLE TO AVOID THE CAR LINE.

    Important Reminders

 Doors don’t open until 7:15. Do not leave your child unsupervised before then.

 The heaviest arrival traffic is between 7:35 and 7:45. Come earlier to avoid being late.

 DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILD OFF in the street or in our parking lot and have them walk up. Stay in the car lane.

 STAY OFF THE PHONE when dropping or picking up your child.

 SLOW DOWN on Hughes and Sagemeadow.

 Sagemeadow dismissal: Prior to the start of dismissal, cars must stop and wait at the end of the fence right before the driveway. This allows school buses and daycare vehicles to enter the driveway first.

 During Sagemeadow dismissal, our staff will always stop car traffic to allow daycare vehicles to enter.

 BE PATIENT with other parents and with our staff. The first few days are usually a little messy, but things will be smooth within a week.

    Visitors

All visitors must check in through the front office with a valid ID. Because we have such limited space in the cafeteria, parents may come eat lunch with their child once a week. You may only eat with your child. Do NOT ask your child’s friends to join you at the parent table. You may not bring food for other children.

All exterior doors will remain locked at all times. Visitors must check in the front office. Parents needing to drop off items for children may use the table outside the office. Make sure items are labeled with student and teacher name.
